After more than 30 years coaching elite endurance athletes, I have dedicated a major part of my work to helping adults over 50 reclaim their strength, mobility, energy, and confidence. Today, I lead a Longevity Program at Scripps Health, where I work closely with individuals in their 60s, 70s, and beyond — many of whom came to us barely able to walk comfortably and are now exercising with confidence, strength, and independence.

This program is not about training like an elite athlete.
